“ My parents moved into Rogers Cove on their sixty-sixth wedding anniversary in June of 2018 and the staff went out of their way to make the transition a smooth one for them. In the two and a half years that they were both there I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and how they went out of their way to add enjoyment to the lives of their residents. When my Father had chest pains just before Christmas 2020 they were there for him and the administrator, April, (who is also a registered nurse) helped with CPR when his heart stopped a few minutes later...she even went to the hospital so that he did not have to go alone! The uniform kindness shown by all the staff towards both my Mother and myself after my Father's sudden death made the loss much easier to bare. My Father had been my Mother's primary caregiver collecting her meals, etc when her health deteriorated and they went out of their way to take over the extra care that my Mother required. In conclusion, knowing that my parents were in a safe location during the pandemic meant a lot to me and having a trained staff available to respond to their needs 24/7 has proved to be a Godsend! ” – Sheena Tappin

My Dad has recently moved to long-term care but he loved living at “the Cove.” He was often heard saying, with a smile and a chuckle, “You know I didn’t want to move but my daughter sure picked the right place for me!
